Operation Transformation: Minimum Fitness Test 


Operation Transformation , in collaboration with DCU School of Health and Human Performance, have developed the Minimum Fitness Test.

This test will identify where you fit within the minimum standards of physical fitness and give you a target fitness to aim for.

Remember: If you have an underlying medical condition or are currently inactive, you should consult with your GP before starting any new exercise programme

  • Why use this resource?
    Test your fitness levels and compare to the minimum standards.

  • Build your confidence to regularly participate in sport and physical activity.
  • Use the progress tracker to monitor your progress and results.

Don’t worry if you didn’t reach the target in your first attempt.  Note down your result and aim to improve on that figure. Every step towards the target figure is an improvement.  Longford Sports Partnership can help you.
