New National Website for Physical Activity in Ireland

31 Jan 2012
Promote your club, classes and events for FREE on www.getirelandactive.ie Get Ireland Active is a new website developed as a one stop shop for physical activity events in Ireland. There are over 1000 hits a month on the site and with the national launch, lots of promotion and advertising happening next week we are expecting this to at least triple. It’s a great opportunity to promote your event, club, facility or group activities for free. Basically anything that is open to the public. People can search by county and by age group, and all activities are displayed in categories, so it’s simple to find what you are looking for. For example I could search for soccer for children or walking for adults in Co. Mayo. Anyone can post an event by visiting www.getirelandactive.ie/events and clicking on the pink ‘submit event’ button. Your event details are then sent to a moderator, and they should appear on the site within a few days. ... read more
