Kilkenny Half Marathon course.
After leaving the city the half marathon course ventures into the surrounding countryside before returning to the city for a fantastic finish on the parade. This is a one circuit course with no overlaps.
This contributes to the appeal of the course and gives runners a better appreciation of this part of Kilkenny. The course is reasonably flat and lends itself to some quick times.
Kilkenny 10 km course.
The 10 km course stays within the city boundaries. There is a climb at about 1.5 km, but after that the course is reasonable and the last
5 km should be fast as it is nearly all flat or downhill.
